Deliverable:

Specific duties and activities would include:

  1. Scanning and uploading of assessment materials.
  2. Scanning and uploading of interim and final tax bills.
  3. Review all tax bills to ensure the amounts are accurately determined and reflect changes in property assessments.
  4. For newly acquired assets, ensure that the appropriate taxing and assessment authorities are notified of the correct mailing address for the direction of bills and notices.
  5. Monthly Tax Installment reporting (cash flow) for received notices.

Tax Budgets

 

Deliverable:

Specific duties and activities would include:

  1. Prepare property tax budgets for each asset, typically forecasting taxes for current and future years.
  2. Work alongside Property Managers and Accounting staff to ensure the budgets reflect any redevelopments, re-demise of units, expansions, demolitions, etc.
  3. Provide any tax change guidelines for provincial and large municipal areas.
  4. Tax forecasts based on guidelines and property specific trends for budgeting purposes.
