Job Description: 

AEC Property Tax, a Ryan Company is currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to help support our Sales & Marketing team in research and prospect identification. Among other duties, the Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of analytical duties to identify key data and provide market analysis. In addition, the position will provide support for the Sales & Marketing team in a variety of sales & marketing initiatives and activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct market research. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Support marketing team in research for prospect identification and proposal activities
  • Gather market data for analysis, proposal activities and business development initiatives
  • Conduct market analysis and present findings for benchmarking studies, white papers, social media campaigns Create a central registry for tool box items, market data, internal client reference materials, etc.
  • Prepare analysis and/or contributes to the development of reports to be used in sales progress reporting
  • Conduct detailed research and accesses relevant information from various resources
  • Update internal database systems regularly and accurately to ensure that current data and research is available for client files, prospecting initiatives, and sales & marketing reports
  • Managing timelines and consistency in account management and support in context of client reporting
  • Assist in drafting proposals, contracts, reporting letters, marketing and sales materials
  • Information systems management specifically in the context of ensuring accuracy and inclusion of key dates, required information and ensuing documentation is handled and administered effectively to support needs of sales and marketing activity
  • Assist regional sales staff based in other offices across Canada
  • Additional responsibilities may include processing expense reports, coordination of RFP submissions, scheduling meetings, tracking sales progress, troubleshooting minor technical problems, maintaining department database records, acting as a liaison between offices
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills required:

  • One to three years of marketing and/or operations experience
  • Previous experience in the real estate /realty tax and assessment industry would be considered an asset

  • Strong computer and organization skills are required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to conduct research and gather market data
  • Demonstrated experience in being proactive with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to follow through and a proven track record of organizing and systematizing dynamic and often complex work environments is crucial to the success of this role
  • Business Administration or Marketing degree or diploma
