AEC Property Tax, a Ryan Company is currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to help support our Sales & Marketing team in research and prospect identification. Among other duties, the Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of analytical duties to identify key data and provide market analysis. In addition, the position will provide support for the Sales & Marketing team in a variety of sales & marketing initiatives and activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct market research. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Support marketing team in research for prospect identification and proposal activities
  • Gather market data for analysis, proposal activities and business development initiatives
  • Conduct market analysis and present findings for benchmarking studies, white papers, social media campaigns Create a central registry for tool box items, market data, internal client reference materials, etc.
  • Prepare analysis and/or contributes to the development of reports to be used in sales progress reporting
  • Conduct detailed research and accesses relevant information from various resources
  • Update internal database systems regularly and accurately to ensure that current data and research is available for client files, prospecting initiatives, and sales & marketing reports
  • Managing timelines and consistency in account management and support in context of client reporting
  • Assist in drafting proposals, contracts, reporting letters, marketing and sales materials
  • Information systems management specifically in the context of ensuring accuracy and inclusion of key dates, required information and ensuing documentation is handled and administered effectively to support needs of sales and marketing activity
  • Assist regional sales staff based in other offices across Canada
  • Additional responsibilities may include processing expense reports, coordination of RFP submissions, scheduling meetings, tracking sales progress, troubleshooting minor technical problems, maintaining department database records, acting as a liaison between offices
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills required:

  • One to three years of marketing and/or operations experience
  • Previous experience in the real estate /realty tax and assessment industry would be considered an asset

  • Strong computer and organization skills are required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Strong analytical and problem solving skills

AEC is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to assist our growing data management team. This person will be responsible for data entry, the maintenance of data integrity and for ensuring that all data compliance procedures are adhered across our various teams of property tax professionals (including the Market Value, Energy and Valuation sectors). Our ideal candidate is a team player, who is comfortable working independently while supporting a larger network of professionals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Complete manual data entry updates across various systems
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of property tax data in all relevant platforms
  • Conduct market research to obtain the most up-to-date information from municipalities
  • Adhere to company best practices & policies regarding the protection of sensitive client information
  • Demo in-house system updates and complete testing on new software features
  • Run system file exports and complete validation checks on information
  • Contribute as needed to team initiatives to ensure tasks are completed promptly
  • Support property tax teams in meeting annual appeal deadlines and ad hoc projects on an as needed basis

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years data entry, clerical or administrative work

Connaissances, formation et aptitudes requises,

The Senior Consultant will provide a variety of property assessment and tax consulting services for various projects to new and current clients with very limited review. The ideal candidate successfully manages relationships and partners with other business units to identify opportunities and maintain synergy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects relating to assessment review and appeals for AEC's national and regional clients.
  • Maintains an up to date knowledge of tax legislation, and industry trends.
  • Provide quality service and maintain ongoing client relationships that lead to opportunities for renewal, referrals, and new service offerings.

Educational and Professional Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in business, real estate, or economics preferred. Additional educational background relating to property assessments, property appraisals, and property tax administration is considered an asset.
  • AACI, AIMA/MIMA considered an asset.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in property tax assessment or appraisal.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial property valuation and assessment.
  • Experience in negotiations and preparation for Hearing settings.
  • Experience in leading evidence with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation and the Assessment Review Board.
  • Maintenance of continued professional development courses.
