Les principales responsabilités

  • Établir et/ou valider l’évaluation municipale des propriétés sous gestion situées au Québec;
  • Contester, lorsque nécessaire, l’évaluation municipale des propriétés sous gestion;
  • Négocier les valeurs avec les autorités municipales;
  • Agir à titre de témoin expert devant les tribunaux;
  • Valider et contester si nécessaire les charges fiscales que doivent assumer nos clients locataires;
  • Rédiger des rapports d’évaluation marchande pour des immeubles commerciaux (industriels, bureaux et centres commerciaux);
  • Préparer les prévisions budgétaires de taxes foncières pour nos clients;
  • Agir à titre d’expert auprès de nos clients en matière immobilière et dans le domaine de la fiscalité foncière;
  • Participer au développement des affaires;

 

Connaissances, formation et aptitudes requises,

  • Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, option immobilier;
  • Détenir le titre professionnel É.A ou AACI;
  • Au moins 10 ans d’expérience pertinente;
  • Bonne connaissance de la Loi sur la fiscalité municipale du Québec;
  • Maitrise des logiciels Excel, Argus et Word
  • Autonomie, esprit d’analyse et de synthèse;
  • Capacité de bien communiquer par écrit et verbalement;
  • Esprit d’équipe, sens de l’organisation et bon jugement;
  • Sens du service à la clientèle;
  • Bilinguisme (anglais et français) requis;
  • Permis de conduire

Administrateur ou administratrice des ventes et du marketing – Montréal, Québec

AEC Property Tax Inc. est une société nationale de conseils en fournissant des services d'évaluation de biens immobilières et de gestion fiscale ainsi que la mise en œuvre de stratégies de réduction du fardeau fiscal pour les propriétaires et occupants d'immeubles commerciaux, industriels et multi-résidentiels. Nous recherchons actuellement un administrateur ou une administratrice des ventes et du marketing pour notre bureau de Montréal.

L'administrateur ou l’administratrice des ventes et du marketing sera responsable de ce qui suit :

  • Soutenir le personnel clé dans les activités d'identification et de recherche de nouveaux clients et dans les activités de marketing;
  • Planification des réunions du personnel clé avec les clients potentiels et production de rapports sur les activités de prospection;
  • Participer à la gestion des comptes clients et de la facturation mensuelle et soutenir le personnel clé dans la gestion des échéances et des délais;
  • Participer à la production de rapports et des mises à jour destinés aux clients ;
  • Participer à la rédaction de propositions, de soumissions et matériel de vente et marketing;
  • Gérer des systèmes d'information pour s’assurer de l'exactitude et de l'inclusion des dates clés et des informations requises, et que les documents qui en découlent soient gérés et administrés de manière efficace afin de soutenir les activités de marketing;
  • Peut être appelé à aider le personnel marketing basé dans les autres bureaux canadiens d’AEC.
  • Les responsabilités supplémentaires peuvent inclure le traitement des remboursements de dépenses, la coordination des soumissions de propositions, la planification de réunions, le suivi quant à la progression des ventes et des activités marketing, la résolution de problèmes techniques mineurs, le maintien des bases de données, d’agir en tant qu’agent de liaison entre les différents bureaux de AEC au Canada, et des autres responsabilités confiées.

 

Qualifications et expérience:

  • Bilinguisme – anglais et français (écrites et verbales);
  • Trois à cinq ans d'expérience de soutien administratif;
  • Une expérience dans le secteur de l’immobilier et/ou de la taxation foncière et/ou de l’évaluation immobilière sera considérée comme un atout;
  • Des compétences solides en informatique et en organisation du travail sont nécessaires;
  • Des compétences solides en communication (écrites et verbales);
  • Une expérience démontrée dans le fait d’être proactif, organisé et capable de respecter les délais.
  • La volonté, la résilience ainsi que la capacité éprouvée de travailler dans un environnement dynamique et parfois complexe sont des attributs importants pour le succès du candidat ou de la candidate à ce poste.

Sales and Marketing Administrator – Montreal, Quebec

AEC Property Tax Inc. is a national property tax advisory firm providing assessment and tax management services as well as implementing tax minimization strategies for owners and occupiers of commercial, industrial and multi-residential real property. We are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Administrator based in Montreal, Quebec. 

The Sales and Marketing Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Support key personnel in prospect identification, research and proposal activities
  • Booking sales meetings/ reporting on prospect activities and scheduling of same for key personnel
  • Managing timelines and consistency in account management and support in context of client reporting
  • Assist in drafting proposals, reporting letters, marketing and sales materials
  • Information systems management specifically in the context of ensuring accuracy and inclusion of key dates, required information and ensuing documentation is handled and administered effectively to support needs of sales and marketing activity
  • May assist regional sales staff based in remote locations (i.e., not in the central office).
  • Additional responsibilities may include processing expense reports, coordinating the submission of proposals, planning meetings, tracking sales progress, troubleshooting minor technical problems, maintaining department database records, serving as a liaison between various offices, and other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bilingualism – English and French (written and verbal);
  • Three to five years of administrative support experience;
  • Previous experience in the real estate /realty tax and assessment industry would be considered an asset;
  • Strong computer and organization skills are required;
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Demonstrated experience in being proactive with proven ability to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to follow through and a proven track record of organizing and systematizing dynamic and often complex work environments is crucial to the success of this role.

AEC is an independent privately-owned commercial property tax advisory firm that is made up of property tax and assessment management professionals. Our staff includes accredited appraisers, professional engineers, chartered accountants, certified cost technicians and former assessment officials who understand the blend of art and science that defines real property assessment and its impact upon realty taxation.

Our Toronto office is currently seeking an Analyst to join our valuation team.  We are willing to mentor and train the right individual who demonstrates a high attention to detail, thoroughness and strong written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares analysis and/or contributes to the development of appraisal reports to be used in the process of valuation for assessment and other purposes.
  • Prepares property tax and assessment analysis and/or contributes to the development of reports on variances and anomalies for a variety of clients. 
  • Conducts detailed research and accesses relevant information from various resources and is able to write and synthesis a reasoned and logical analysis.
  • Works with intermediate and senior level professionals who will provide mentoring, direction and peer review of work.
  • Updates internal database systems regularly and accurately to ensure that current data and research is available for client files.
  • Participates in site inspections as required.
  • Accurately completes time sheets on a daily basis ensuring accountability for time spent on daily activities.  Records team member time usage as required.
  • Works cooperatively with team members across the organization.  Participates regularly on team projects, meetings, and training sessions.

The Senior Consultant will provide a variety of property assessment and tax consulting services for various projects to new and current clients with very limited review. The ideal candidate successfully manages relationships and partners with other business units to identify opportunities and maintain synergy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects relating to assessment review and appeals for AEC’s national and regional clients.
  • Maintains an up to date knowledge of tax legislation, and industry trends.
  • Provide quality service and maintain ongoing client relationships that lead to opportunities for renewal, referrals, and new service offerings.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives used in developing additional regional or national clients. 
  • Mentor analysts to enable them to achieve results for clients and bridge pathways to growth.
  • Maintain records consistent with AEC’s technology platforms dealing with time and billings (timesheets), project management software, and other tools utilized by AEC.
  • Participate in negotiations with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation.
  • Prepare Disclosure Reports and Expert Witness Reports.
  • Lead evidence in Hearing settings in front of the Assessment Review Board or other tribunals while maintaining the integrity of AEC’s brand and the interest of our clients.
  • Other tasks as assigned by AEC’s senior management team.

Educational and Professional Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in business, real estate, or economics preferred. Additional educational background relating to property assessments, property appraisals, and property tax administration is considered an asset.
  • AACI, AIMA/MIMA considered an asset.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in property tax assessment or appraisal.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial property valuation and assessment.
  • Experience in negotiations and preparation for Hearing settings.
  • Experience in leading evidence with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation and the Assessment Review Board.
  • Maintenance of continued professional development courses.
